I have had the pleasure of utilizing Ms. Slusher for significant sewing creations. Whether it
has been for special occasion dresses or home furnishings her designs have consistently
been extraordinary and done with great detail. She listens to the customers needs and
answers with professional designs. She is appropriately priced and her workroom responds
in a very timely manner. I have been a customer for twelve-years and I am always over-
whelmed at what she has created for me. I have tried other so-called designers Dallas,
Texas but always come back to Barbara in San Antonio.
Barbara, has been sewing for over 30 years, and her work for me is always been abreathless masterpiece. Her creativity is beyond measure in daywear, eveningwear, and
home décor. She has always delivered on or before a promised due date.
My experiences with Sew Chic have exceeded all my expectations. Whether my needs focused on my professional or personal requirements, Barbara exceeded them all. She not only has the
expertise, but also met my commitments without any hesitation.
This letter is to express that in my opinion Barbara Slusher is an outstanding seamstress. Barbara has been sewing for me for over 20 years. Anytime I needed a dress for cotillion, semi-formal,
prom or just a new outfit I was able to call on her and she got it done. It didn’t stop just there, Barbara has
made anything from drapes for my home to Barbie Doll clothes for me, and no matter what it was the
quality was always outstanding.
My name is Louise Robles and I had the privilege to work with Barbara Slusher for 2 years at Providence High School.
During my time at Providence High School it became necessary to have a few clothing items altered.
Barbara made the alterations at a very good price and in a timely manner. She did an excellent job and I
was very pleased.
Barbara quite often wore things she had made and I was always impressed with the quality of her work
and her style.
Barbara has been doing my alterations for years. She is very
professional, timely, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Over the years I've taken her my suits, slacks and shirts to be tailored. I have a lot of confidence in her abilities and I know that the job is going to
get done correctly.
Barbara has been sewing for my entire family for over 30 years! I continually refer her to co- workers and anyone who needs her expertise; be it a simple hem adjustment or detailed alterations.
Barbara is very capable of taking on the biggest projects in a timely manner.
She recently assisted my cousin in the preparations for her wedding. Barbara recommended the styles
and materials for not only the wedding party but also designed the bride's wedding dress!! It was
gorgeous!! I must add that everything was completed and delivered months before the big day, which was
a great relief to the bride and our entire family!!

Barbara recently designed a beautiful a dress for my 25th birthday party. She guided me towards making the perfect selection on my fabric and dress design. She even assisted in helping me
pick out accessories to complement my dress. I will continue to have custom-made dresses designed by
Barbara. She is definitely one of a kind.

hours. Without thinking, I turned the dress inside out to further examine the finishing touches of perfectly
graded seams, and the clean smooth curve lines around the neckline; the zipper, hem, and how
meticulous Barbara is in her tailoring techniques. I must have blown Barbara away with my boldness! I
couldn't help myself...I love beautiful work, and that is exactly what Barbara Slusher produces; fine
finishes, knowledge and expertise in handling a wide variety of textiles with confidence.
